Our one-to-one lessons are scheduled by the hour and usually take place in the afternoon (if only a few hours per week are required). These lessons can concentrate either on General English or on any specialist areas that the student is interested in (such as business, work presentations, marketing or management
English Extra combines 15 hours (20 lessons) of our standard General English programme with 5 hours of one-to-one lessons (as described above). It is also possible to add more private lessons to the course.

This is the highest level, non-specialist Cambridge examination and is held twice a year in June and December. Churchill House offers 15 or 16-week courses starting in March and August.
The most popular Cambridge Examination, tests English at an Upper Intermediate level. We offer a 10 or 12-week course starting in January then 11 or 12-week courses starting in April and October.
IELTS is very widely recognised by universities in Britain and many other English-speaking countries. It is definitely the first test to think about if you want to study at a British university.
